My name is Elaine, and I am a lifelong and dedicated dog lover. I have shared my life with dogs for many years and always been deeply passionate about dogs and their welfare. I believe that every dog deserves to feel safe and to be treated with love and respect.
In 2017, I decided to offer a dog walking service but I soon realised the need for other services such as day care and boarding. I understood just how stressful and upsetting it could be, having to leave our beloved pets on their own, so I obtained my license from HBC and started WAGG ‘n’ HEELS.
I feel so privileged to be able to pursue my dream of running my own business caring for dogs. I believe strongly in kind and ethical treatment and I am dedicated to understanding their individual needs, behaviours and the best ways to support their care, health and happiness.

Here at Wagg ‘n’ Heels we offer a reliable & fun dog walking service where every dog is provided with an opportunity to exercise in a safe & secure setting. Our dog walks encompass a walk and train approach, filled with enriched, enjoyable interaction with us and other canine companions.
Our dog walking service can provide your dog with supervised social interactions and exercise during the day when you are out at work, have other family commitments or if you struggle to give your dog the exercise they need. Exercise is not only important for your dog’s physical health, it is also hugely beneficial to their mental health too. Providing opportunities to explore and investigate different environments, discover new sights, and smells can prevent boredom & behavioural issues. Rest assured your dog will be happy and relaxed after a good walk.
We offer both group and one to one walks. Groups will be selected with no more than 4 dogs at a time whilst in public areas. Dogs will be matched according to temperament, play styles and any specific needs. With permission, they will have the opportunity to run off lead, socialise, burn off that energy and of course, have fun!
One to one walks are a great choice for nervous, anxious or reactive dogs that may struggle in a group setting and will receive undivided attention and a walk bespoke to their individual needs.

At Wagg ‘n’ Heels, we offer a personalised experience for your dog in a safe & secure home from home setting. With small groups & plenty of individual attention our care revolves around creating a stress-free and relaxed environment where your dog can enjoy many forms of enrichment.
Your dog will have the opportunity to interact with other canine companions on walks & playtime, if they like cuddles then they will not be disappointed, they will have plenty of warm and cosy places to curl up in for rest and relaxation just as they would at home.

Are you looking for a professional dog boarder in a home from home environment? Whether it’s for a night, a week or longer, Wagg ‘n’ Heels provides a five star dog boarding service & ensures your dog is safe, comfortable, happy and well looked after.
During their stay, your dog will be treated with utmost care and attention and will be made to feel like a part of our family. We will follow their existing routine to make them as comfortable as possible during their stay. Your dog will participate in group walks, enjoy social interactions and have a structured day to keep them entertained and fulfilled. Overnight, dogs are made comfortable and kept in a safe and cosy space to help aid a restful night ready for another day of fun.
Our dog boarding creates an opportunity for you to go away knowing your dog is in safe hands and that they will enjoy their holiday as much as you do yours.

Training is an important part of your dog’s life journey and I believe it should be fun and enjoyable for all involved…not a chore. I am here to help you develop a better understanding of your dog and in doing so, build a strong and trusting relationship throughout your life together. I understand that things don’t always go as planned and I’m here to guide and support you, as a team, through any training or behaviour issues you may have along the way. I believe in modern, reward based training strategies and use positive reinforcement to build confidence and trust.
I take an holistic approach as I know that one method doesn’t work for every dog or owner and adapt the training to cater for individual learning styles, different emotions and various environments to ensure that the training works effectively, whilst also creating a joyful learning experience for you both.

I’m passionate about Puppies! As an IMDT Easy Peasy Puppy Instructor I specialise in puppy training covering all aspects from foundation behaviours such as recall, loose lead walking, toilet training and teething to more real life skills. So, whether you have, or are soon to be welcoming a new puppy into your family, I can guide you in the right direction and put you on a path to a happy and enjoyable future together.
1-2-1 Training
Personalised training sessions, designed to address the specific needs of you and your dog. I understand that not all dogs cope well or are comfortable in a class setting. This individualised approach is particularly beneficial for dogs that may be anxious around other dogs, easily distracted or have specific behaviour or training needs that require personalised attention. My aim is to provide a positive and effective learning experience tailored to your dogs abilities and your goals.
Hoopers!
Fancy trying something new with your dog! As a Canine Hoopers World Instructor, I offer Hoopers training which is a fun, low impact activity that is suitable for any type, breed or age of dog & involves directing your dog around obstacles such as hoops, tunnels & barrels.
All equipment on a Hooper’s course is at ground level, the courses are flowing with no sharp turns or sudden stops. Handlers do not need to run so it is accessible for all ages and abilities. Hoopers helps build teamwork, improve focus and gain confidence for both you and your dog.
